Description

DESKEY is an elegant wave design comprised of sinuous embroidery and impeccable beading. It is a tribute to its namesake Donald Deskey, the legendary Art Deco designer best known for the 1932 interiors of Radio City Music Hall. Detailed computer embroidered dots are first applied to a linen base fabric. The beads are then hand embroidered, placed one by one in a precise pattern to create a gradual ombre. A labour of love, three to four people work together to produce four meters of DESKEY per day.
